Our TEAM
Location
The design, research, and construction of all things QCLI takes place in Beamish-Munro Hall; a building in the Queen's Integrated Learning Center. This location provides the resources to modify prototypes and utilize advanced engineering software.


Faculty Advisor
Dr. Ali Etemad
Ali Etemad is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Queen’s University, Canada, where he leads the Ambient Intelligence and Interactive Machines (Aiim) lab. His main area of research is machine learning and deep learning focused on human-centered applications with wearables, smart devices, and smart environments. He has co-authored over 100 articles and patents published/granted or under review.
